Dating in the USA on Telegram
Tinder and Hinge in the States are built for people who already live in that dating culture. A lot of newcomers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and nearby countries still spend the day in Telegram — work chats, family groups, news. Opening yet another store app just to say hello feels heavy. Tanys stays where that conversation already is.
The app is in English. At sign-up you pick United States, then a city from the list. Your phone number stays hidden. Chat opens only after both people like each other. A moderator looks at the photo before the profile goes live: a real face, an adult, not a stolen picture.
This is not a promise of “millions of Americans tonight”. The US list is new. Early profiles are often people who moved here, study here, or want someone who understands both English and a CIS background. If the local feed is still thin, that is honest — better a small reviewed circle than a fake counter.
How it works in the United States
- Open Tanys app in Telegram.
- Choose United States and your city.
- Upload a photo of yourself. A person checks that the face is visible and you are 18+.
- Browse the feed and like. A chat starts only on a mutual match.
Cities in the app
We did not clone a page for every suburb. One country page, ten cities you can actually select:
Your city is missing? Do not invent a nearby name just to get into the feed. Pick the listed city you actually live in or nearest to. Other countries in search stay behind Premium — the US feed is for people who registered there.
Where to meet in person
A first meeting belongs in daylight, in a place with other people. Do not go straight to an apartment. Do not send money for a “ticket”, “deposit” or “Uber”.
- New York. A weekday coffee in Midtown or a walk around Bryant Park — easy to leave if it is a mismatch.
- Los Angeles. Santa Monica in the afternoon: public, outdoor, not a private driveway.
- Chicago. Millennium Park or a busy cafe near the Loop, not a late bar as the first plan.
- Miami. A daytime terrace, not a hotel lobby someone “already booked”.
Why Telegram here, not another US swipe app
US apps compete on volume and paid boosts. Tanys competes on a smaller job: you already have Telegram, you want a reviewed photo, and you may want someone who will not freeze when you mention Almaty or Tashkent. English is there so a partner who does not read Cyrillic can still use the product. Russian and Kazakh stay in the language switch if you need them.
Safety
Phone numbers are not shown on the profile. Stock photos used as “you” are rejected. If someone asks for money, crypto, or a “verification fee” — stop and report in the app, or write creativ_nur@mail.ru. More on the safety page (the page is also in Russian; the rules are the same).

Is there dating in the USA inside Telegram?
Yes. Tanys is a Mini App. You do not install a separate dating client from the store.
Do I have to pay to register?
You create a profile in Telegram. Looking at people in your country and chatting after a match is the core. Some extra limits or options may need a subscription via Telegram Stars. We do not list prices here because they can change in the app.
Will I only see people in my city?
You register with a US city. The feed is built around your country. Opening another country is a Premium filter, not the default.
What if almost nobody is in my city yet?
Say so to yourself and stay. Empty hype does not help. Invite people you trust, keep the photo honest, and do not jump to random websites that sell “US databases”.
Tanys does not guarantee a partner in New York or anywhere else. It gives a reviewed profile and a chat in Telegram. Whether you meet is your decision.
